As someone once told me in my formative years while learning the ropes of sports media: “If it isn’t on social, it doesn’t exist.” I try to take that approach towards social media with any and all coverage I commit to, through visual posts, to graphics, and informational updates, etc. The more that can be seen by the fans on their mobile screen, and the more eye-catching the content they are consuming, the more they will think about how those organizations are progressing, and the more likely they are to return and see what else is in store.
