Throughout my two years working as the creative arm of Athletic Communications with Missouri Baptist Athletics, I managed to generate different forms of visual content, from hype tapes to cinematic highlights and coaches shows to other longform content. Featured below are some of my best pieces from the two years I spent crafting videos and other visual media for the MBU Athletics Department.

I took a different approach to my sports information director role for Missouri Baptist women’s basketball during the 2021-22 season. The hype was real entering the campaign for the Spartan women that year. While they didn’t end the season how they would have hoped, I took it upon myself, with the coordination of head coach Sam Pearson (found in my references section of my resume) and his staff, to follow the team with my camera from the preseason through the final whistle of the conference postseason tournament. What resulted after many hours of post-production following the season was a full-fledged documentary encapsulating their turbulent yet memorable season completely directed, filmed, produced, and edited by yours truly.

When I started my career into the sports media space, I chose to attend Iowa Western Community College. This is where I cut my teeth as a creative doing sports reporting for the Bluffs Sports Zone on Iowa Western Television (formerly known as CBTV-17). Here you can see my video reel of my reporting and stand-up work covering lots of local high school events and Iowa Western games, as well as a few times where I anchored during the player of the week interview portion of the weekly Iowa Western coaches show, The Coach Stroh Show.
